Pedro Marin Martinez

Pedro Marin is a Venezuelan arranger, composer and mandolin player with over 30 years of experience. Marin was trained at the classical mandolin school of Ivan Andler and at the prestigious Ars Nova school under maestro Maria E. Atilano. He went on to found and serve as a musical director for Caracas Sincronica and Pomarrosa – groups with which he has recorded several albums and toured internationally in Europe, America and Asia. Marin’s career stands out for its innovative commitment to contemporary Venezuelan music, collaborations with renowned artists and the production of radio programmes and culturally significant musical events. Throughout his career, he has participated in international festivals and composed music for films and television. Currently, he remains active as a composer, arranger and instrumentalist in various audiovisual and musical projects, working closely with globally recognised music libraries, establishing himself as a key figure in traditional and contemporary Latin American music.
